Saxophonist and composer Eero Koivistoinen is one of the best-known Finnish jazz musicians. For fifteen years he also has composed music for the Juvenalia Choir. Founded in 1989, the choir has been conducted by Matti Järvinen from the start.

On the record, duties are shared by Kullervo Latvalainen. Three suites consisting of shorter songs, some familiar from Koivistoinen’s band albums, are heard on this album.

The rhythmically vivid music is performed in a way that reflects well Koivistoinen’s style. Exhaustive information in English is included in the booklet.
