Jimi Tenor has never been an easy subject for anyone trying to label his work. Seemingly free of genre boundaries, the musical vocabulary in Tenor-land has just expanded further with his new project, Itetune. This time the artist has even created his own instruments.

Erik Bergman spent nearly half of his life travelling and visited almost every corner of the globe. Although he was a true cosmopolitan and exoticist, he managed to maintain a recognisable and personal musical style in all his compositions. For Bergman, foreign cultures were objects to identify with rather than mere reservoirs for musical ideas.

All musicians seek inspiration, sometimes on the other side of the world. Eero Hämeenniemi, a Finnish composer of classical music, works in close partnership with top Indian musicians, while Kiureli Sammallahti sings Indian Bhangra music in Finnish.
